Despite a turbulent campaign which saw Los Blancos fail to win either La Liga or the Champions League, Ancelotti has been given another chance to lead his team into next year.

Names such as Eden Hazard and Rodrygo Goes have already started making an impact this year, while former stars such as Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos have continued to be influential figures throughout their careers with Los Blancos.

Despite not winning any silverware this time around, Ancelotti believes that Madrid are well on their way to forming a new generation of players which can take them into beyond with renewed ambition. This kind of transition could play a huge role in securing success for both Real Madrid’s present and future, something which would surely delight fans who have seen their beloved team struggle over recent times.

Ancelotti himself has labelled his time at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium “unforgettable” despite it having come without any tangible rewards yet. He was further reassured that he would stay on for another year after talks with the club’s hierarchy following last Tuesday’s 4-0 Champions League defeat at Manchester City.

The pressure may be high but Carlo Ancelotti is ready to face up to it once more when he returns for his third full season in charge of Real Madrid next season – donning (Real Madrid jersey 23/24) in true style – where anything could happen!
